A member of the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild since 1965, Randolph has worked as a certified weldor on nuclear power systems and as a machine shop foreman/supervisor for ALCOA. He has worked as a machinist/weldor in the petroleum industry and has taught many courses in both the machine shop/tool maker trades and the welding trades. For the past 20 years he has operated his own machine and welding shop in his home town of Franklin, NC. Randolph is also a member of Mensa.
